Tandem Signs University of Texas Center Jarrett Allen for Full-Service Representation

Arlington, VA, April 25, 2017 – Tandem Sports + Entertainment has signed projected lottery pick Jarrett Allen from the University of Texas for full-service representation for the NBA Draft and throughout his basketball career. Allen will be represented by Tandem’s vice president of athlete representation, Derrick Powell, and president, Jim Tanner. Tandem will handle contractual agreements, personal appearances, public relations services, corporate partnerships, community relations initiatives and business opportunities for the NBA Draft prospect.

Boasting a 7’5.5” wingspan and 9’2” standing reach, Allen played at Texas for one season where he led the team in rebounds (8.4) and blocks (1.5). He also averaged the second most points with 13.4. The freshman posted 22 points and 19 rebounds, and 20 points and 11 rebounds in two games against Kansas this year. He recorded 12 double-doubles on the season and scored in double figures in 25 games.

Allen earned All-Big 12 Conference Third Team and Big 12 All-Newcomer Team honors. He was also named to the US Basketball Writers Association All-District VII Team and the National Association of Basketball Coaches All-District 8 Second Team.
